REPOST Lincoln-Douglas Classroom Debate Proposition 1:

Hazing is a term used to describe various ritual and other activities involving harassment, abuse or humiliation used as a way of initiating a person into a group. Hazing is seen in many different types of groups: including but not limited to gangs, clubs, sports teams, military units, and workplaces and fraternities. In recent news, a FAMU freshman died as a result of serious hazing from his fellow band members. Hazing should be encouraged as a rite of passage for people joining new groups.
